Fabian Allen Early Life and Education
Allen faced hardships in his early days. He once revealed that he has played cricket on dirt. Allen scored an historic knock of 338 runs in school days. It remains the highest individual score in Jamaica school cricket.
Fabian was included in West Indies’ squad for the U-19 World Cup in 2014. Allen was severely injured in an accident which took place in 2016. Allen nearly lost his arm in that accident.

In 2018, Allen was called up for the West Indies’ tour to India. On 27th October, Allen played his maiden ODI. A week later, Allen was also handed over his T20I cap.
In the 2019 Cricket World Cup, Allen smashed his career best knock of 51 runs against Sri Lanka. On 27th June 2021, Fabian Allen played an explosive knock of 34 runs off just 12 deliveries. This knock included 5 sixes.
Unfortunately, both knocks couldn’t take West Indies across the winning line.

Allen was first signed by the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots. In 2018, Allen scored 64* of 34 deliveries helping the side chase 169 runs set by Barbados Tridents.
Before the IPL 2020 season, Allen was signed by the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Allen didn’t feature in a single game for the southern side.
Punjab Kings later bought him for the 2021 season. His IPL debut came against his former side where he dismissed David Warner. Punjab released him at the Mega Auction.
Mumbai Indians signed him for 75 Lakhs INR towards the end of the IPL Mega Auction 2022. Allen’s only dismissal in the season was Lucknow’s Quinton De Kock.
Allen featured for Dubai Capitals in the inaugural edition of ILT20. He played a match against the Gulf Giants which was his only outing throughout the season.
Allen has been a regular face in the Windies’ side. He has impressed the cricket fraternity with his all round abilities in white-ball cricket. Allen has also pulled off some insane catches in the outfield.
Allen’s career has been short so far, but definitely entertaining.
