The Indian all-rounder was born in Choryasi, Surat, Gujarat, India on 11th October 1993. His father Himanshu Pandya had a small business of car finance. He shut it down and moved to Vadodara with his family to provide his sons (Hardik and Krunal) with better cricket facilities when Hardik was just 5 years old. Then Himanshu Pandya worked as a loan agent and enrolled their sons in the Kiran More Academy of Cricket.
Since the family had financial problems, Hardik’s father rented an apartment in the Gorwa district. Hardik studied at the MK High School until 9th grade and after that, he quit school as well as studies to focus on cricket. He was very expressive during his childhood.

Debut: Hardik Pandya got his maiden call-up for the Indian T20 squad for the series against Australia at their home. He along with his Mumbai teammate Jasprit Bumrah made his T20I debut on 26th Jan 2016 in Adelaide. He took 2 crucial wickets while bowling and gave handy 37 runs in his 3 overs. However, he didn’t get a chance to bat in that game. India won that game by 37 runs and Virat Kohli was given the man of the match because of his 90 runs.

Hardik Pandya started his cricket career at the Kiran More Cricket Academy in which he was enrolled by his father along with his elder brother, Krunal. He played junior cricket and performed exceptionally well. He was quite expressive during childhood.
Hardik made his debut for the Baroda team in 2013 and had a huge contribution in making Baroda champion of the 2013-14 season of Syed Mushtaq Ali. In a match against Vidarbha smacked 8 sixes in an innings and scored 86 runs in the winning cause.
Based on his domestic performance, Hardik was selected for the grandest cricket league in the world, IPL. He was sold to the Mumbai Indians at an INR 10 lac. In the 2022 IPL mega auction, Hardik was drafted into the Ahmedabad franchise as the captain which was quite interesting because Hardik doesn’t have much experience as a captain. But he cleared all the doubts and questions put on him after winning IPL’2022 and becoming the 2nd player to win the tournament after Shane Warne in the captaincy debut.
