Team History
- SRH was formed in 2013. Sunrisers Hyderabad replaced the Deccan chargers in 2012 and debuted in 2013. The franchise was taken over by Sun TV Network after the Deccan Chronicle went bankrupt. The squad was announced in Chennai on 18 December 2012.
- The team is based in Hyderabad, the capital city of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.

Team Owners
The franchise is owned by Kalanithi Maran of the SUN Group and was founded in 2012 after the Hyderabad-based Deccan Chargers were terminated by the IPL. The IPL team is looked after and managed by his daughter Kaviya Maran.
Team Colors and Logo
- The official team color of SRH is orange.
- The Hyderabad franchise has a very bold and strong logo, depicting an Eagle in the backdrop of the rising Sun. The idea behind this logo was to show that the team would take flight like an Eagle in the competition and will fight fiercely.
Home Ground
SRH’s home ground is the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, which is one of the biggest stadiums in India, located in Hyderabad. The stadium has a seating capacity of approximately,55000 spectators and is known for big boundary lines.
